Herman’s is seeking a career minded accounting professional that is looking to assume a fulltime, long-term position with growth potential in a highly successful company.The Accounts Payable Administrator position assumes an intermediate level of responsibilities within the Accounting and Finance Department providing support to CFO and Director of Finance.Roles and Responsibilities Processing Accounts Payable invoices using leveled costing system Bi-weekly checkruns Managing Purchase Orders and Inventory receipts Vendor maintenance and inquiries Managing expenses and communicating with company departments Other duties as assigned by CFO and Director of Finance.Experience and Education requirements University Degree or Diploma in Business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance and/or 5 years of accounting / bookkeeping experience concentrating on Accounts PayableSkills and Attributes of successful candidate Accurate and fast keyboarding Organizational skills Attention to details Accuracy and uniformity in performance Strong communication skills Ability to learn quickly Ability to perform responsibilities with confidence, motivation, discipline and professionalismWork Conditions Modern office environment in downtown St Catharines Positive, friendly staffRemuneration Hourly rate and benefits will be based on the successful candidate’s education, experience and skill levelsThis is a unique opportunity with growth potential, for a career minded candidate that is looking for a challenging position in a profitable industry.
