The Role: We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our Global Finance Team You will be an integral part of our Order-to-Cash cycle, in collaboration with the accounting team and other departments. Additional responsibilities may come as the company and the role expand. The ideal candidate will perform all duties in a timely manner with great attention to detail and be able to work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment. What you’ll be doing: Own the accounts receivable collections process Reach out to overdue customers via email and phone call Liaison with our internal sales team to obtain direct or alternate customer contacts Monitor AR inbox for customer inquires related to payments and invoices Fill out customer intake forms or login portals Guide customers through various payment methods: banking details, credit card portal, check Review sales orders and send invoices to customers as needed Work closely with Revenue team and Deal Desk team to resolve billing errors Prepare analysis related to collection activities and AR outstanding status Investigate historical billing and payments discrepancies Drive incremental process improvements and automation to improve efficiencies Participate in the year-end audit as needed What we’re looking for: 3 years in collections or accounting experience Experience with MS Office Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP system is a plus Experience with Salesforce or comparable CRM system a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to research discrepancies to solve problems Proven ability for clear and effective written / verbal communication Ability to work independently, maintain tight deadlines, solve problems proactively Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Why Nitro ?.
