2 days ago inBanking and Asset Management Our client within asset management requires an Associate, Investor Relations to join their team. The candidate must be self-motivated, detail oriented and looking to grow within the organization. Responsibilities: Responsible for professional servicing of new and existing clients Complete account opening documents and client onboarding – Subscription Documents, KYC suitability and AML assessments, following through with signatures, W8BEN forms Ongoing knowledge of various account types – individual, joint, corporate, registered accounts, IPP, ITFs Initiate and monitor transfers of client accounts Maintain our CRM database – Salesforce, address tracking, special instructions/requests Prepare banking deposit documentation to deposit client cheques and monitor bank & client accounts Send out various client communications and reports – monthly and quarterly statements, financials Prepare and manage presentations & marketing materials for client meetings Maintain strong financial literacy and knowledge of our product offerings Respond to client requests such as calculating returns, breakdown of managements fees, and tax inquiries Coordinate intermediary requests, assist with Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), database updating, regulatory filings Participate in special projects and assignments within the Investor Relations Team Manage all client documentation and files (new accounts and maintenance) and ensure documents are up to date and that there are no document deficiencies Manage monthly mailing lists and email campaigns Liaise with external third parties and vendors Demonstrate a strong code of ethics while adhering to and protecting client privacy Proactively identify customer needs and offer appropriate solutions Complete such other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time Qualifications: An undergraduate degree in Business, Accounting and/or Finance Preferably 2-3 years of professional work experience in a related role Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Meticulous attention to detail Proficiency with MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software tools Superior interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues High level of professionalism Great organizational skills and a dependable nature Ability to handle confidential information Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up Aptitude with numbers and exceptional problem-solving skills Openness and willingness to learn new systems Completion of or willingness to work toward CSC or EMP Course is mandatory.
