Class 1 Truck Driver – Grain Farm

Candidates must have Class 1 and farming experience – Weyga Farms is a grain farm operation located just outside of Camrose, Alberta. The farm is seeking a candidate with a Class 1 License with experience loading and hauling Super-B’s with agricultural product. Operating farm equipment and machinery to carry out field operations will also be expected and will vary depending on level of experience. Further responsibilities include maintenance and minor repairs to equipment, grain handling, bin monitoring and general farm duties. This is a full-time year-round position with competitive wages based on experience. We also offer health and dental benefits and the possibility of low-rate housing if needed. Seeking an individual that is a strong team player that communicates effectively with others. Class 1 and minimum 2 to 3 years of experience are required. Mechanical background is an assets. Driver’s abstract upon request. Position begins with a 3-month probation period. Seasonal overtime required. Wages are negotiable; starting between $25 – $30 / hour subject to qualifications and experience.
