This position requires outstanding interpersonal talents along with leadership expertise, as it involves frequent interaction and collaboration with various teams.Responsibilities:Design and implement large-scale data ecosystems across major cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, and Azure, with a focus on Data Mesh principles.Promote and foster best practices in data modeling using cutting-edge frameworks, ensuring consistency with broad data strategies.Simplify the dialogue between business goals and technical implementations, making certain that data architectures resonate with shifting business needs.Showcase technical leadership, guiding fellow architects and data engineers, and fostering a culture of ongoing learning.Implement a solid data governance framework in line with Data Mesh philosophies, covering aspects such as data security, privacy, and compliance standards.Produce detailed documentation capturing the nuances of data architectures, processes, and tactics.Remain updated on breakthroughs in data architecture, consistently suggesting innovative tools, practices, and approaches.Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years in data architecture, with a pronounced focus on contemporary data modeling and Data Mesh techniques.Demonstrable skills in AWS, GCP, and Azure, with firsthand experience in crafting large-scale data systems, from data lakes and warehouses to real-time data streams.Familiarity with leading big data platforms and tools, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.Extensive knowledge of up-to-date data architecture designs, emphasizing Data Mesh, data security, and integration approaches.Exceptional communication skills paired with leadership capability, enabling smooth cooperation with varied teams.Analytical expertise with a solutions-oriented attitude, consistently aiming for best-fit solutions in alignment with business objectives.Skillfulness in agile methodologies and tools, particularly JIRA and Confluence.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with container orchestration utilities, especially Docker and Kubernetes.Direct involvement with data analytics platforms and visualization utilities like Tableau and Power BI.Basic knowledge of machine learning and AI landscapes.Competence in DevOps, CI/CD best practices, and their impact on data structures.Previous exposure in sectors with stringent regulatory standards such as aviation, transportation, finance, or healthcare.
