Delivery Driver

DELIVERY DRIVER (G – license) Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. starts, 35 to 42.5 hrs per week, full-time, permanent. Scenic Small Town & Country Route: Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington (to/from Milton) 80-100 kms/day, approx 12 stops before and after lunch break Customers: business – to – business (“B-to-B”) Closed statutory holidays , except Labour Day Responsibilities include: Load and unload company truck safely and accurately Follow route and complete planned stops in a courteous and efficient manner Establish long-term customer relationships through prompt and courteous service Unload order at each customer location Answer customers’ questions and complaints about product delivered Arrive at customer acceptance of product for quality and quantity; contact office for assistance in resolving any issues that may arise Communicate customer complaints, requests, and feedback to management Return signed invoices, updates, and truck to warehouse each afternoon so it is ready for the next day Minimum Qualifications: G License with a clean abstract (Recruiter will order Driver’s abstract at job acceptance stage) Able to lift 50 lbs; pump truck, dolly experience assets Produce, Bread or Grocery Receiver or Clerk experience an asset Effective communication skills and courteous customer service skills Positive and professional attitude Return signed invoices to warehouse Math skills Documentation and verification skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Reliable and responsible employee Compensation Package: $21/hr vacation time and benefits, if eligible, and if required _The Company has been servicing its solid portfolio of steady customers for decades._ _Click “Apply Now” above/below and your resume will be sent to Tamara Fontana, Recruitment Consultant and President, SearchTree Recruitment._ Job Types: Permanent, Full-time Salary: From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 35 – 42.5 per week Benefits: Dental care Extended health care On-site parking Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Holidays Monday to Friday No weekends Application question(s): Do you enjoy every evening and weekend off work?.
