Prime Management Group Inc. is pleased to be partnering with RM Sotheby’s in the search for a highly qualified Director of Treasury within the Senior Leadership Team in Blenheim, Ontario. In this important role, the selected candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to top executives, including the President and CFO.

The Director of Treasury will be responsible for: Developing and enhancing banking relationships across Canada, USA and Europe Managing the Sotheby’s financing relationships Business Modeling Managing critical aspects of the business, including daily treasury operations, cash flow projection and forecasting, investment and debt management, compliance monitoring, and portfolio management. These core competencies form the backbone of this role and are essential for its success. The highly experienced leader will develop and imple-ment operational strategies for cash management, operating debt, letters of credit, and performance bonds, and diligently manage cash flow forecasting. The Director of Treasury will also spearhead the development of treasury reports tailored for senior management and prepare audit schedules related to interest, debt, foreign exchange, and cash availability.

Collaboration with Corporate accounting for bank reconciliations, monthly borrowing base calculations, management of the online banking platform, administration of the operating lease program, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions are integral responsibilities. This Director of Treasury position represents a unique opportunity for a seasoned financial professional to significantly impact RM Sotheby’s, contributing to the organization’s financial strategies and ensuring the effectiveness of treasury operations. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation for the history of this highly successful entrepreneurial company coupled with the ability to envision exponential global growth. In addition, this leader will possess an outstanding track record as a Director of Treasury and appreciate the need to be present in the office for a minimum of 3 days per week.
