Covenant Health, in partnership with Alberta Health Services and t he University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Emergency Medicine, invites applications for an Emergency Medicine Specialist at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.This is an outstanding practice opportunity to work on a committed and creative team serving local and outlying communities in Alberta’s Edmonton Zone.This position holds a 0.5 FTE. Required: · MD or equivalent. · Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. · Certification in Emergency Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the College of Family Physicians Canada (FRCPC) · ACLS, PALS, and ATLC Competency. · Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety. · Demonstrated commitment to Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) in the healthcare environment. · Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
