Insurance Training Specialist

Please note this role requires insurance experience and a RIBO license in good standing.The OpportunityThe Onboarding and Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating training, coaching and mentoring for new team members as they are onboarded to the company. This professional would be responsible for developing and implementing an onboarding curriculum suitable for all new team members to be successful across the organization, including in personal lines insurance as well as farm and commercial roles. When there is no active onboarding taking place, this person may be required to assist the Training and Development Leader as well as the Management team in special projects.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive training sessions for new team members across the organization, covering key areas such as Power Broker, Applied Rating Systems, company procedures and workflowsCreate a supportive and inclusive experience for all new team members entering the companyPresent and champion the core company values of team, community and clientsProvide guidance and resources to team members to enable a seamless transition out of onboarding and into respective rolesAssist in the identification of inefficiencies in procedures and make recommendations for amending corresponding workflows and processesProvide performance reports on individual team member progress to the appropriate leader(s)Develop opportunities for a simulated client interaction via role-playing various scenariosFacilitate and support the learning of soft skills and sales techniquesComplete file reviews for team members to determine compliance and identify knowledge gapsOur Ideal CandidateDemonstrates a high degree of professionalism and integrityExhibits a proven ability to coach and support team members to reach goalsExhibits proficiency in utilizing Power Broker, ARS and other insurance-specific platformsDemonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skillsIs a critical thinker, who can think outside the box and bring creative ideas for achievement of goalsExhibits dedication to being a champion of company values and team culturePossesses a proven ability to lead a team and take initiativeInteracts with patience, enthusiasm and dedicationHas an in-depth understanding of all insurance-related products in personal, farm and commercial insuranceHas mastered time-management and organizational skills with a close attention to detailQualificationsHas prior experience in mentoring or training rolesPossesses a RIBO license in good standing with 5 years of insurance experienceRIBO License
