Inventory Logistics Analyst page is loaded Inventory Logistics Analyst Apply locations Amherstburg, Canada time type Full time posted on Posted 4 Days Ago job requisition id JR1087318 Job Description : Inventory Logistics Analyst Job Level: Level 6 Job Summary: The Inventory Control/Logistics Analyst is responsible for working with the Site Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Material planning teams to ensure multi-campus distribution centre inventory levels are accurately maintained and available to support business requirements This includes defining, refining daily critical metric reports, inventory reconciliation reports and activities. Working with our 3PL partners the Logistics Analyst will plan, distribute and handle execution of the daily outbound order commitments to our customer base. The resulting impact to distribution centre inventory requires in-depth analysis to ensure inventory levels are maintained per market requirements. The scope includes Finished Goods, Work in Process, Raw Material & Other Inventory (including in-process, Repair and Operating Inventory).

The initial focus of the Inventory Control/Logistics Analyst is to support the Site Move Manager, plant clerical team in the establishment of a local Inventory Governance process and local accountability and compliance to inventory control and excise tax control principles. This position will be the Data & Inventory Control Key User and will provide the first level of support for Data & Inventory Control questions at a site Additional Data & Inventory Control Key User responsibilities include: Monitoring site business process conformance and reporting business process issues, implementing process continuous improvements, supporting local implementation of SAP / WMS upgrades, training end users, and providing ideas for regional functional requirements. Responsible for the oversight of the dry supply and finished goods warehouse team members. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy of site inventory Ensure accurate orchestration of Inventory Management systems at a site including: SAP inventory, quality management transactions Warehouse Management System actual consumption transactions Warehouse Inventory Cycle Count Management Inventory Management Reporting/critical metrics Obsolescence Inventory Management Control Handle the Claims process.

Authoritative functional support for timely and accurate resolution of SAP COGI transaction errors at the site. Support Data Key User & Inventory Control Key User roles at a site Support SAP Production reconciliation activity on-site. Assignment Inventory Tags to Finished Goods Inventory Ensure WMS integration as the need arises. Validate BOM master data in production systems.

Assign Process Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures Run daily reconciliation reports. Work with 3rd party freight forwarder on outbound shipping assignments Report on site shipping asset allocation, advance to key business partners as required. Collaborate with plant loading team to ensure outbound schedules are met efficiently and on time, develop and report on critical metrics as required to meet customer schedules. requirements Monitor inventory levels and ensure no max stock breaches and stock. Work with Supply on any stock out/stock breach exceptions Identify potential SLOBS weekly and input into S&OP process.

Manage existing SLOBS and write offs within targets. Qualifications and Experience: Degree or equivalent in engineering, supply chain, mathematical or business degree 3-5 years work experience in operations, scheduling and logistics related environment Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain operational processes e.g. DRP, MPS, inventory, conversion, logistics and customer service Customer centric Numerate with broad statistical, analytical skills and attention to detail – Requires proficient use of computers, databases, spreadsheets, and presentation software. APICS desirable Experienced user of a planning system (e.g.

SAP APO preferred) Experience in WMS implementation, transactions and trouble shooting an asset. Requires understanding of Inventory & Inventory Control Business Processes Requires understanding of SAP Site Data & Site Change Control business processes Requires excellent math skills and troubleshooting skills. Requires good interpersonal, training skills. Knowledge of how computers systems interact and network a plus.
