They are currently looking for a Manager, Accounting to join their team Why Work Here Company is going through rapid growth, organically and through acquisitions Join the team at ground level Tons of growth and career development opportunity available About the Opportunity Delivers, in partnership with other members of the team, an organization that can demonstrate value to its Stakeholders and partners and creates beneficial Economic impact within Canada With the Financial Controller, manages and oversees the operations of the accounting function including: Month and year end processes Accounts payables/receivables Cash receipts General ledger Revenue and expenditure variance analysis Capital asset reconciliations EFT payment runs Fixed asset activity Assists with both the internal and external (audited) financial statements Assists with the coordination and completion of annual audits Assists with segregated accounting, claims processing, reconciliation and reporting of different funding streams and be knowledgeable of the various funding stream reporting requirements Supports the financial aspects of projects by: Reviewing and substantiating project budgets and claims and auditing documentations against funding rules Maintaining claims templates, data, dashboards and processes Processing financial transactions related to projects Communicating with the company’s project participants Analyzing claims data for ad-hoc reporting Supports other financial reporting and analysis by: Preparing disbursements and initiating the transfer of funds Maintaining a strong financial and internal control environment Supporting the accounting function with preparation, review, analysis and reporting. Assisting with the preparation of quarterly HST reporting Supports testing of Dynamics accounting software update and liaise with support team. Establishes and enforces proper accounting methods, policies and principles.

Improves systems and procedures and initiates corrective actions. Contributing to a team effort About You CPA designation Minimum 3 years experience working in audit and assurance in a public accounting firm Experience in data analysis and financial reporting High level proficiency in Excel Working knowledge of Dynamics Knowledge of Not-for-Profit accounting and experience with government funding programs is an asset Salary Range $100,000 – $115,000/year How to Apply Click the “Apply Now” button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
