Manager – Data Operations

Our leading healthcare client is looking for a Data Operation Manager to join their team This is a permanent opportunity which will operate on a flexible hybrid model at their Downtown Toronto location (1001 Queen Street West).Salary: $100,000-$120,000Responsibilities:Oversee technology and processes related to data and visualization architecture.Manage data warehouse technologies and ensure optimization.Implement modern data architecture aligned with design principles.Integrate new data sources and align with standard data models.Develop machine learning operations infrastructure.Lead a technical team responsible for data models, technical solutions, and infrastructure configuration.Support design, development, and implementation of database design and data analysis.Provide technical direction for data warehouse technologies.Establish data quality control and standards.Support data governance principles.Optimize SSIS ETL solutions.Coordinate data acquisition and data-mart production.Manage upgrades and system improvements.Lead and mentor an Enterprise Data Team.Maintain data models, database designs, and configuration documentation.Ensure infrastructure configuration for optimal performance.Analyze and interpret databases for OLAP and ETL design.Develop data models and meta-data dictionary.Lead the design of data marts and SSRS reporting environments.Manage and evaluate ETL Developers, OLAP developers, and SSRS developers.Provide leadership in team planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.Manage human resources, including recruitment and performance management.Foster diversity and teamwork.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.5 years of Data Warehousing experience.Experience leading Data Warehousing Development resources/teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Experience with Apache NiFi, (or other equivalent systems) to manage scalable data routing and transformation.Online analytical processing (OLAP) experience Strong organization and planning skills.Healthcare environment experience is preferred.Analytical problem-solving ability.Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.Experience working with diverse clients and stakeholders is an asset.Experience in big data and data mining is a plus.Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language is an asset.
