We are also the exclusive Canadian distributor of Italy’s finest Rio Mare, Lavazza products and Kicking Horse Coffee in Canada.Position Summary:Reporting to the Vice President, Sourcing and Procurement the Manager, Procurement Planning & Performance is a supporting role that mines data and develops insights that underpin the strategic direction and strategy development of the procurement organization.

The position is responsible for developing dashboards using business intelligence tools that provide status and control points for procurement activities. The position involves learning how to interface with the various Sofina systems and developing a method for master record creation.Key Accountabilities:• Data mine Sofina’s various systems to create a structured data universe that can be interrogated for reporting on all procurement vectors;• Create clear, compelling and concise dashboards that provide intuitive and actionable visualizations;• Create clear, compelling and concise PowerPoint presentations;• Cleanse large amounts of data for duplications, nomenclature inconsistencies, accuracy and categorization across various systems;• Use algorithmic math functions to calculate correlations and heuristic classifications using unstructured data;• Develop a data strategy for improving the collecting and consumption efficiency of procurement data;• Create models for triaging items that are critical to the operations.Requirements:• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, mathematics, computer science or engineering;• Certification using business intelligence tools;• VBA, DBA proficiency;• Advance excel mastery;• Outstanding PowerPoint and presentation authoring abilities;• Meticulous attention to detail;• Ability to manage competing priorities;• Proactive mindset;• Grit and determination;• Problem solving, and critical reasoningSMARKSofina Foods Inc. is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (‘AODA’).
