From hospitals to stadiums, office buildings to condo towers, single family suburban communities to custom infill renovations; they provide trade professionals with quality Building Materials. They are currently searching for an Outside Account Manager for their Edmonton location. The Outside Account Manager will maintain strong customer relationships with existing clients and developing new customers in the Interior Design, Home Builders and Wholesale community. Responsibilities: Plan, develop, and implement organization policies and goals with respect to architectural product lines. Partake in some internal duties (Assist with incoming calls and develop a strong knowledge of core products). Develop and maintain strong knowledge of manufacturers’ products and applications. Maintain a strong industry knowledge as it relates to current code requirements and competitor’s product offerings. Attend counter days and provide training to customers as required. Maintain and complete Sales reports for manufacturers. Participate in trade shows, trainings, and associated product meetings. Knowledge of the Construction industry or a background in Plumbing products would be considered an asset, but not essential. Previous Management experience considered an asset. Strong ability to work independently to efficiently manage the assigned territory and accounts. Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships. Ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Willingness for occasional out of town and overnight travel Willingness to learn.
