Produce Department Order Picker Needed

Position: Produce Department Order Picker Location: East Ottawa Salary: $19 per hour 4% vacation pay Hours: 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. – 5 shifts a week (must be available to work on weekends) Our East End client is currently looking for Low Lift / Double Picker Operator to work as Order Pickers in a distribution facility for the evening shift. This is a long-term opportunity with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidates. We have an immediate requirement for up to 5 candidates to work in a safe and friendly environment. If you are detail-oriented, able to work under minimal supervision, reliable, and punctual, we want to hear from you as soon as possible Duties: – Pick product in a warehouse environment – Build pallets – Operate low lifts (training provided) – Get product ready for shipment – Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis – Dress for the warehouse environment (e.g. sweaters if needed, can be a cold wet environment) Requirements: – CSA approved steel-toed boots that cover ankles – Clean criminal check – Ability to stand for extended periods of time – Great attention to detail – Ability to operate a low lift (training provided) an asset These are long-term opportunities that will offer any candidate the chance to grow and develop within a long-standing organization.
