I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. I’m looking for a real estate accountant for my client, a real estate company located in Ville Saint-Laurent. This is a permanent position, 40 hours a week in person. Duties include: – Prepare and issue monthly rent invoices to tenants, ensuring accuracy with the lease. – Track and document rent payments, dealing promptly with any discrepancies or late payments – Issue demand/default/termination notices to tenants and provide related reports – Maintain records of all financial transactions related to income properties – Reconcile bank statements, rent records and accounts receivable on a monthly basis – Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets – Prepare annual municipal property tax returns – Oversee the processing and payment of property-related expenses, such as utilities, maintenance and property taxes – Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field – Bilingualism French/English required – 3 years’ experience in a similar position – Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables) – Proficiency in Hopem, Yardi and/or Quasimodo a strong asset
