A brand new 23 bedded nursing home in Westward Ho North Devon OPENING SOON This role will be ideal for an ambitious registered nurse who involves themselves in delivering the highest quality of care to our residents. As the Deputy Manager you will: Take charge of a team of nurses and care assistants allowing opportunities for staff to communicate openly and positively. Provide a visible and accessible presence throughout the home. Assist the home manager with staff training, supervisions, and appraisals. Ensure that all new staff receive a comprehensive induction programme and help home manager recruit and support new staff. Assist the manager with the day to day running of the home Provide on-call and emergency cover in a pattern to be agreed with the home manager. This may also include night shifts as and when required. To be considered for this role you will need to be: A registered nurse with an active NMC PIN number Hold a valid UK driving licence as the role will include undertaking assessments outside the home Up to date clinical skills and knowledge Good knowledge of CQC guidelines and regulations Genuine interest in caring for the elderly Excellent communication and leadership skills Job Types: Full-time permanent Salary: Negotiable To apply please click the apply button and send your CV.
