Seasonal Painting Position

Student Works offers exceptional hands-on experience in the trade of painting. Working with our team will allow you to develop your technical skills, as well as client relations and working with a team of like-minded people. Student Works takes on residential and commercial jobs, involving a wide range of tools and products in order to complete projects to the highest standards. Although experience is preferred, we offer full training on safety and technical skills to ensure your success in the painting field, so it is not necessary. There are two positions available on a team of painters, both of which come with their own roles and responsibilities. Painter: As a painter, you will learn about the processes behind painting and the products involved that allow jobs to be done correctly. You will be working on a team of positive and energetic individuals where you will push each other to maximize your potential and efficiency. Crew lead: The crew lead will take on additional responsibilities including management and leadership. Along with all of the skills that you learn as a painter, you will be tasked with extra jobs that improve organization and time management between crew members and job sites. Bonuses and incentives will be involved with both roles, with the difference of a higher starting wage for a crew lead. Both positions will be filled with hard working and enthusiastic individuals who are detail oriented and take pride in the work they accomplish Requirements: Able to work full-time throughout the majority of the summer Must have own transportation (job site locations change frequently) Manual labour and ladder work required.
