Seeking Window Attendant for Food Truck

WE ARE HIRING ⠀ ⠀ We will be up and running for the 2023 season by May, and we are looking for individuals who are outgoing, energetic, enjoy working with changing scenery, and have food industry experience to join our team⠀ ⠀ Part-time/casual seasonal positions available, running from May through the end of September (weather permitting). Hours vary weekly, depending on the number of bookings we have. Ideal candidates are available for shifts Monday through Sunday.⠀ ⠀ Location of shifts is primarily in Edmonton and surrounding areas- staff will be required to meet on site location. Those who have access to a vehicle/drive will be given preference.⠀ ⠀ Wage is $15 per hour plus split tips.⠀ ⠀ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS⠀ ⠀ – Previous food industry experience an asset⠀ – Current food safety certification an asset⠀ – Strong customer service skills⠀ – Professional and friendly (even in tough situations)⠀ – Effective communication skills⠀ – Works well independently and as part of a team⠀ – Organized and good at time management⠀ – Quick learner and good at math⠀ – Attention to detail & a critical eye⠀ – Good personal hygiene and someone who values their health⠀ – Comfortable with technology (POS system)⠀ – Able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis⠀ – Able to be on your feet for long periods of time⠀ – Valid Drivers license and clean drivers abstract⠀ ⠀ PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES⠀ ⠀ – Load items into food truck and prep menu items⠀ – Greet customers as they approach the truck⠀ – Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods⠀⠀ – Take beverage and food orders⠀ – Prepare checks using electronic POS system⠀ – Serve food and beverages to customers⠀ – Stock service window area with supplies⠀ – Work with other staff members and be a team player⠀ – Clean up after shift end (dishes, mopping, etc.)⠀ ⠀ ⠀ TO APPLY: Send resume to helloguiltfreeeats.ca with the subject ‘RESUME’.⠀ ⠀ Job applications accepted until March 30th- interviews to follow shortly after
