Senior Data Engineer Technology/Gaming Canada (Remote) About Us: This company is using high-level machine learning models to change the way computer games and mobile games are played. They are rapidly expanding and looking to almost double their team size by the end of 2023. They are looking for data-driven individuals who are passionate about what they do and want to grow using a modern AWS tech stack. The Role: As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and continuously enhancing our cloud data platform on AWS.

You’ll employ the latest Data Engineering best practices to support the platform’s growth as we rapidly scale. Your responsibilities will encompass: Crafting and rigorously testing scalable Python code that meets the specifications for seamless integration with our AWS platform. Spearheading the creation of a brand-new AWS platform, leveraging infrastructure tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Python.Collaborating closely with Data Scientists to construct Data Warehouses and streamline ETL processes, enabling advanced Machine Learning capabilities.Engaging with various departments within the company, including Sales and Marketing, to uphold data architectures using tools like Hive and Spark.Your Skills and Experience: Proficiency in automation tools such as Airflow. Demonstrated experience in system design within an AWS environment.

A solid background in data engineering with hands-on experience in building data platforms.
