This role is a key leadership position at the Golden CO, and Nixa, MO manufacturing sites with specific responsibility for leading and developing the Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and CI/Lean functions while also leading the strategic development of the sites. The position also contributes to Worldwide Manufacturing, Global Operations, and Corporate strategies for Waters. The position provides leadership & direction to the teams responsible for the manufacture and technical/process support of a diverse portfolio of Waters products including ASR and ERA product lines. The position is responsible and accountable for the Quality Management System. It provides leadership and commitment to continually improve and maintain the effectiveness of the QMS to consistently produce safe and effective products. Promote a risk-based / process approach within the company. This role will also lead cost-saving initiatives and improvement projects (productivity, quality) in support of the annual operating plan. To provide leadership and strategic direction to Golden Operations in the manufacturing and delivery of high-quality products on time and within financial targets in a safe, sustainable, and responsible manner. Perks of working for us Paid vacation time, paid sick time, and paid holidays All benefits begin day 1 Tuition reimbursement Team environment Eligible for overtime Competitive pay Responsibilities • Oversight of day-to-day business operations• With Waters Functional area leadership, develop and communicate the business vision, strategy, objectives, policies and values• Allocate resources to optimize business growth and overall performance• With relevant functional area leaders, establish and achieve performance targets • Anticipate internal and external drivers of change to strategy, and respond by making appropriate adjustments• Develop and support a culture of product/service quality management and safety• Build capability by recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and mentoring new talent• Establish and/or implement policies and performance standards • Work in concert with Waters’ Human Resources to address hiring, performance management and termination • Review and authorize sales bids, commercial contracts and purchase contracts within signature authority seeking legal or other support where appropriate• Evaluate employee performance management, employee development and support Qualifications Experience required: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field Minimum 10 years of Industry work experience in a high volume/complexity ISO 9001, ISO13485 or GMP, Operational Excellence/Lean environment, with at least 5 years at senior management level.
