As the Senior Manager, Group Retirement & Savings Sales you will oversee daily activities that support Group Retirement & Savings business development, marketing plans, sales initiatives and service and retention activities. You will manage escalated client issues and liaise with Group Retirement & Savings Operations and Product Development teams on various initiatives. How you will create impact: • Meeting business development and retention targets. • Creating and maintaining business relationships through the various group retirement distribution channels, assisting with the development of business plans and participating in content creation and proofing of proposals. • Planning, directing, and evaluating department operations to achieve strategic objectives, identifying business opportunities, and providing insight into strategic planning. • Maintaining visible leadership and participating in the service delivery to clients, ensuring plan sponsor service meetings are delivered according to service standards and providing education on responsibilities to sponsors of group retirement plans. • Overseeing plan member education and engagement, conducting research and remaining informed of industry developments. • Coaching and developing your team, recruiting, and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives. To join our team: • You have 8-10 years of leadership experience in Group Retirement & Savings client servicing or distribution. • You have a post-secondary degree in Business Administration or Financial Services. • You have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Pension Plan Certificate or equivalent. • You hold the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or the Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) designation(s). • You have expert knowledge in all aspects of Group Retirement & Savings Plans. What you need to know: • You will travel frequently. • You are required to have a valid driver’s license and insurance. • Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, will be required. • As a leader, strict confidentiality is required with respect to sensitive matters and employees’ personal information. • You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
