Our client is a fast-growing private equity firm based in Toronto. They have the immediate need for an individual with 8-12 years’ experience to join their Investor Relations team. The preferred candidate will have a background in private equity, investment banking/M&A advisory, pension plans, equity research or have worked in a senior finance role with another private equity/alternative investment firm. THE POSITION Reporting to a senior member of the firm, the Vice President will be an integral member of the Investor Relations team.

Specific responsibilities include: ·Develop and maintain fundraise enablement assets, such as offering materials, investor presentations and quarterly marketing materials. ·Interface with senior leaders in development of messaging and content for the AGM, quarterly webinars, and investor letters.·Manage the preparation of responses to inbound investor due diligence requests.·Ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevancy in messaging across all investor relation outputs through detail-oriented review of outputs prepared by junior team members.·Develop familiarity with legal, product, and market considerations associated with marketing materials. ·Liaise across the organization to collate and synthesize information to support the development of deliverables.·Execute ad hoc strategic projects, such as data and technology initiatives, that support the growth and effective scaling objectives of the organization.·Conduct ongoing market and industry research, including monitoring of similar strategies and positioning in the marketplace.·Oversee, manage, and execute multiple projects at one time with consideration for resourcing and priority.·Help to oversee, manage, and develop junior professionals on the Investor Relations team. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS ·Approximately 8 to 12 years of professional experience.·Prior experience in private equity, investment banking/M&A advisory, pension plans, and/or investor relations is valued. ·Candidates with experience in equity research or broader finance roles will also be considered. ·High degree of maturity, professionalism, and integrity.·Strong leadership and project management capabilities.·Proven ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.·Experience leading and managing a team in execution of projects.·Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a particular strength in dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders at various levels within and outside the organization. ·A proactive self-starter who can handle pressure effectively and has experience working with senior management teams. ·Strong attention to detail.; high level of accuracy.EDUCATION ·University Degree (Preferably in business).·Post-graduate degree/MBA/CFA designation considered an asset.
