Why choose Nortera – Competitive hourly wage; – Annual bonus program (if applicable); – Complete range of social benefits and employee assistance program (EAP); – Possibility of contributing to an RPP with employer contribution; – Reimbursement for tuition fees and physical activity; – Referral program; – Environment that fosters learning and professional development; – Opportunities to work on inspiring projects in a growing company Your daily role – Safely operate a forklift to pile and take down bulk product up to six pallets high – Safe loading and unloading of both dry and frozen freight – Enters data using computer inventory management system – Uses handhelds and truck mounted scanners to support pallet transfers from one location to another – Performs daily forklift safety checks including battery changing procedures and using proper personal protective equipment – Organizes materials and supplies for shift start and properly stacks/stores left over materials – Communicates tote needs and tote issues to immediate supervisor and quality control – Provide coverage for forklift drivers as well as move to various areas depending on production needs. – Follow directions from the shift Supervisor. – Other duties as assigned Your profile – Previous forklift experience considered an asset – Must pass Forklift Training – Strong safety frame of mind with demonstrated safety in job performance – Willingness to help in all areas of the Warehouse, Packaging, Bulk, etc. as required – Ability to simultaneously manage a variety of work tasks and priorities – Ability to work as part of a team – Good communication, decision making and troubleshooting skills – Possess a continuous improvement mind set We’re looking for people like youCome grow with Nortera Although all job applications are considered, only successful applicants will be contacted.
